Practical information

What to bring when driving your own 4WD car:

·         The 4WD cars and off road MC’s must be in top condition and serviced recently before starting the tour.

·         There have to be built-in CB radio in the car or a powerful handheld CB radio.

·         2 x 20 liters jerry cans for back-up fuel.

·         A little camping set with a table and a chair for every person.

·         2 plates, 1 cup, 1 knife, 1 fork and 1 spoon for every person. “Doing the dishes” is your own responsibility.

·         There have to be tent and sleeping equipment in every car, for everyone in the car. Remember that a good night sleep is a necessity for a good trip, so don’t be stingy at this point. Roof tent is a good solution, but remember that we are going serious off road several days, so use high-quality equipment.

·         When taken the tour on MC, we can arrange table and a chair for you and even have your tent in our Landrover. The rest of the equipment has to be on your MC.

·         When driving the MC you must be wearing off road gear, incl. knee, elbow and shoulder pads. Some good gloves and of course a high quality helmet.

·         The guide’s Landrover has room for a 10 liters jerry can for MCs. The longest stretch without gas stations is 250km.

·         There will be a first aid kit in the guide’s Landrover.

·         If there should be any accidents on the tour, it is every persons own responsibility to have insurance on yourself and the MC/Car.
Offroadfun.net and bikershome.net takes no responsibility for any accidents involving any of our travelers. But both Henning and Peter have 20 years’ experience guiding tours all over the world, without any major accidents. So you can always feel safe when travelling with us.

·         Every meal on the tour is made from local high quality ingredients. There is plenty for everyone and there will be several dishes for both lunch and dinner. Henning have before been praised for his skills at cooking delicious food in the outback.

·         Every tour has a limit of 4 cars, each car with max. 4 persons. The guides Landrover can have 3 passengers and support 3 MCs.
